Course outline
Hosted by Interfaith Scotland, this retreat is open to people of all faiths and none who are interested in finding out about the lived experience of people of different faiths, philosophies and spiritual practices. This will take place through sharing the things that inspire us on our life journey, and conversations on what we share in common across different faiths such as prayer, meditation, wisdom and compassion. Come to share or come to listen – everyone is welcome! There will be opportunities to try out some creative expressions of spirituality such as walking meditation, art, singing together and a reflective walk to the cave of St Molaise and the Tibetan Buddhist deities carved into the rocks.
Our programme will include an hour after breakfast each day working with the resident volunteer community, helping with kitchen, housecare and garden tasks. Participants are welcome to join in the Centre's daily meditation schedule. There will also be time for personal reflection and enjoyment of this beautiful island.
The retreat starts in the xxxth, after supper and there will be a morning session after breakfast on the xxxth.
