Angie Ball
Angie Ball Has been a student and practitioner of Tibetan Buddhist meditation and philosophy for many years. Based in the community of Kagyu Samye Ling Tibetan Center, she has had the privilege of learning from a variety of learned Buddhist teachers; in particular studying with Chuje Akong Rimpoche who initiated and developed the Tara Rokpa Therapy programme. This deep and profound work includes several key aspects including the 5 Tibetan Elements system. These Elements are seen to be one of the fundamental practices devised to help develop an understanding of our human physicality and place in the world and within the natural environment.
The 5 Elements are seen as an essential ingredient to understanding the human emotions, helping create more balance and a grounded approach towards improved health and well-being. As well as training for several years in Tara Rokpa Therapy, Angie is also a qualified counsellor + a tutor, trainer and supervisor of Mindfulness, Compassion and Insight and has worked as a freelance tutor for the Mindfulness Association UK for 14 years, running courses and training programmes both locally, throughout the UK and in the EU.
Angie’s teaching style is interactive, experiential, fun and informative whilst exploring the rewarding journey of self-discovery.
