David Oldham and Tina Gilbert
David Oldham MA has been practicing meditation for many years and spent 10 of those working in a hospice and for the cancer charity Macmillan where he developed courses and taught mindful compassion theory and practices to patients and health care workers and carers from all backgrounds and disciplines. He also established the Mindful Compassion Partnership, working with colleagues to facilitate training teachers and continuing to run courses all over the UK and internationally. Alongside this he has had a private counselling practice for 22 years and also worked for and alongside many partner organisations to offer this service. He has had years of experience facilitating one-day, weekend and week long retreats across the UK
Tina Gilbert has been practicing meditation since she became a yoga teacher in 2005. She has been running mindfulness 8 week programs for years as well as teaching mindfulness, compassion and teacher training for the Mindfulness Association. Tina has presented and taught internationally and across the UK and run numerous workshops and retreats in mindfulness, compassion and yoga. Tina is nurse specialist in Oncology and has worked in this field for over 30 years. Working with many charities she has facilitated many 8 week mindfulness courses and yoga classes to people living with a diagnosis of cancer and seen the enormous benefits of both. She is also a mindfulness supervisor supporting teachers delivering mindfulness courses.
