The Project
At the north of Holy Isle the Centre for World Peace and Health hosts a retreat and course programme during the summer season, April through October.
During this time, anyone willing to abide by the Five Golden Rules is welcome to visit the Centre to participate in a short retreat, course or workshop. Read more about the Centre and what happens on the island.
The Project is directed and run by Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche, a Tibetan Buddhist meditation master in the Karma Kagyu tradition. The island is open for all, Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike. Read more about the vision. Read more about Buddhism on Holy Isle.
From the beginning, the stewardship and care of Holy Isle's beautiful natural environment has been high on Lama Yeshe's agenda. Read more about environmental care.
