Course outline

This Iyengar yoga retreat offers the chance to focus and rejuvenate with much yoga and plenty of down time to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of the island.
It is a yoga-immersion experience rather than a holiday including both āsana and prānāyāma and requires a minimum of 1 year’s current Iyengar class experience.
YOGA PROGRAMME: Practice is in the beautiful and spacious Peace Hall and our sessions are planned to align with the daily routine of The Centre.
- Friday: Pranayama 7.30–8.30pm
- Saturday & Sunday: Asana 10am–12.30pm, Asana* 3–5pm & Pranayama 7.30–8.30pm
- Monday: Asana 10am–12noon
*On Saturday and Sunday there will be the option of an extra hour of Intermediate asana practice, at additional cost, between 5 and 6pm for those with sufficient experience.

a) The course fee is £190, payable to Julie: to attend you require 1 years current Iyengar class experience. Please bring a yoga kit of (mat, 4 blocks, 2 bricks, 2 belts, 1 blanket).

b) Once you have made your booking with Julie, please book your accommodation on Holy Isle, which you pay for on arrival. Use the Book Now button in the sidebar - select 3 nights from 1st - 4th May 2026 (please note the default setting is for two guests.
c) The local ferry. You will need to book directly with Lamlash Cruises for the crossing to Holy Isle, details of when and how to do this will follow later. But to help with advance planning crossing times are: 3pm on arrival day - 01.05.26 and 1pm on departure day - 04.05.26.
TRANSFERS (buses & taxis): If you plan to take a car onto Arran pre-book through CalMac otherwise you can pay as you go to travel as a foot passenger. Some people use the local bus to transfer between Brodick and Lamlash, it meets the ferry while others share a taxi to make this link.
