Course outline
This midsummer retreat explores therapeutic aspects of asana, yoga nidra, pranayama, and meditation. It draws on these practices to rediscover our basic well-being and altruistic nature.
Neville is a chiropractor, bodyworker, yoga, and meditation teacher. He is a long-term student of Akong Rinpoche and Lama Yeshe who, along with many other Buddhist masters and yoga teachers, have deeply inspired and motivated his life and work.
Through his many years of practice, teaching, and leading retreats, Neville has refined his teaching, distilling the essence of many spiritual practices and communicating them in a gentle, healing, and accessible way.
His wish is that retreatants will take away whatever they have found beneficial to restore and reinvigorate their daily practice at home.
This retreat would suit people who have a regular yoga and sitting practice. There will be four teaching/practice sessions daily and a period of silence. There will also be time to explore and immerse yourself in the wild and beautiful surroundings of Holy Isle.
