There is no required reading for this retreat, but we will be working principally with Teilhard’s masterpiece, THE HUMAN PHENOMENON (a.k.a. The Phenomenon of Man). if you have a copy please bring it to the retreat but don't feel you have to read it all in advance. The recommended translation is the new edition by Sarah Appleton Weber which is superb, but either version will do.

Cynthia's own e-course on “Teilhard for our Times,” which is essentially a succinct summary of our Holy Isle course material. While the course is no longer running as a “live” online course, individuals and even small groups can still “buy” the course for a very reasonable rate and work through the material on their own.
